The "google browser sync" firefox plugin makes it very simple.

It syncs bookmarks between any number of firefox installations,
automatically.  You can also [optionally] keep them encrypted on
google's server with your own key so even google can't read them.

Personally I only sync my bookmarks, but you also have the option of
syncing your cookies, history, saved passwords, and/or tabs & windows.
