    I completely agree. Although, it's important to note that under 
previous iterations (Windows 3.1 and Win9x) this wouldn't have been a 
problem, even remotely. So, maybe it was ready for the desktop (in this 
regard only) and has since been made less ready for the desktop in this 
regard.
