Torrents kill my WRT54GS (original model, with the max amount of RAM 8
megs, I think). I tried several different firmwares on it, including
TurboWRT, DD-WRT, original, and OpenWRT, and on each one of those
firmwares, if I didn't heavily limit the torrent options (limit the number
of connections/clients per torrent), it would kill the speed of my router.

To combat this, I created an old box (K6-2 350MHz) running IPCop, and now
I'm using that as my router, and things have been great, it hasn't killed
my connection or speeds once. I've been extremely happy with IPCop, and
it has enough features, and a nice enough interface.

Thanks

Mike
