	It's allways bad to know of casualties. Sadly I seem to have fallen in
with a lot of other people in that this kind of news seems to fade a
little too quickly.

	War is hell. It is good insofar the dead did not suffer needlessly.

	This is very interesting to me. The media stateside has given me the
impression that it is indeed a civil war. The actual situation calls for
a very different solution.

	When you have few options even dangerous work is preferable if you can
influence the outcome positively. These are truly altruistic people that
I fear the politicians are going to leave behind.

	As for Michael, I think he's stuck in the sixties. I haven't heard that
sort of misguided rhetoric since Vietnam. I have to wonder if he voted,
but as you may have allready seen from the list I have no intention of
finding out. Aaron, thank you for going into harms way because you were
ordered to. Hopefully the Iraq war will be resolved soon and to a
peaceful conclusion. Hope springs eternal but I don't really think the
final solution is going to be pretty. War, for whatever reason, never
is.
