I'm purchasing a new computer, and I'm going to sell my current primary machine:

(it was a custom build - so no brand name)
2.4 ghz Pentium 4
15" 1024x768 screen (SiS 650 integrated)
512 mb memory
40 gig hard drive
3 usb ports
1 firewire port
InfraRed (I used to have fun with this in classrooms, shame on me)
built in microphone
2 speakers (left one doesn't work)
microphone port, line in port, headset port
vga out port
s-video out port
10/100 ethernet port
parallel port
modem (who uses these anymore?)
and of course the power brick

It's a laptop, but with a long dead battery. I've had this machine
for nearly 4 years now but I've kept it in very good shape. The only
problem with Linux I've ever had with it is the SiS 650 chip is not
supported for 3d acceleration.

I'd like to sell it to someone local to Detroit, but if there are no
takers I'll probably just ebay it. I'm asking for $300 OBO. I'll
even pre-install Ubuntu on it (it is what I'm running now - but I'll
make sure the buyer has a fresh install).
