Hmm, I'd think that a true Emacs user would use Ctrl-E for End. :)
Ctrl-Z suspends Emacs (or iconifies it in X).

I disabled CapsLock on my IBM Model M 101-key keyboard also, using the
"XkbOptions" "ctrl:nocaps" option in the InputDevice section of xorg.conf.
