<div>iTunes is the defacto leader in Podcast subscriptions.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>however as this is a Linux list, :D, you can use Amarok, which I have used and it is an ok solution. I have tried Juice on WinXP, which has som serious issues. </div>
<div> </div>
<div>There is also Democracy Player, which is for videos only, but is nice. That one can be setup to delete unwatched shows after a period of time.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I am currently personally using Google Reader. Yes, it would be nice if the files were automatically downloaded to my computer to listen to when I want to, it is convenient to be able to listen at home or work to unlistened to shows w/o having to worry about knowing if I listened to something already or is it synced up with my portable mp3 player.
</div>
<div> </div>
<div>speaking of which, that is why iTunes is the best... it syncs up with the iPod showing immediately if a show has already been listened to or not in addition to uploading the latest downloaded podcasts. I used to use iTunes, which I did like extensively. I do NOT have an iPod and had to manually move mp3s to my device, which is the case in almost every other situation.
</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Syncing up files to the portable mp3 device is where the gold is at.<br><br>Not real sure about other stuff out there and it's success other than the Zune in knocking the champ, iTunes, off it's pedestal.</div>
