Job Description:   =20
- Systems Support Level IV - CAE/Unix Administrator=20

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform Daily Enterprise Level Server Maintenance as directed by staff.
- Install & Upgrade CAE Applications on clients/servers.
- Maintain & Install CAE Software licenses and the related license server(s).=20
- Create & Maintain CAE Queuing System (LSF).
- Install & Upgrade Unix/Linux Operating Systems within physical or Logical =
(e.g. Logical Partitions) server environments
- Apply fixes & maintenance patches and install/maintain compilers & runtime =
libraries (e.g. C, C++ & Fortran).
- Create and Maintain documentation for Servers, incidents, and their known =
resolutions as well as common best practices of Enterprise Level Systems.
- Perform daily monitoring & error checks on all servers=20
- Propose preventative maintenance methods & quickly troubleshoot server =
problems that may arise.
- Create & maintain scripts using at least (2) programming languages (e.g. Korn =
shell, C Shell, Perl or Awk, etc.) to perform health checks, automating routine =
tasks & perform notification upon hardware/software failure.
- Maintain Server/CAE Application Utilization trends (Monthly Reports).
- Must display a high work and service ethic, working in a team environment to =
support the operations of  systems.

Job Requirements & Qualifications
- On-Call Support:  Must be willing to provide 24x7 on-call support and respond =
to alerts & notifications to ensure system Service level agreements are =
maintained.

Education:=20
- 1-4 years College Computer Science/Information Systems or related field =
preferred.=20

Certification & Training: =20
- Should have minimum one IBM-AIX Certification and Course completion =
certificate for Basic LSF Configuration & Administration Training.

Job Experience=20
- 4 or more years of Experience with Unix (AIX & Linux)
- 3 or more years of Experience with Flexlm/LMS based licensing
- 3 or more years of Experience with Queuing Systems such as LSF, NQE, etc.
- 2 or more years of Experience with CAE Applications
- 2 or more years of Experience with Unix Performance Tuning
- 2 or more years of Experience with CAD/CAE & Engineering systems=20
- 2 or more years of Experience with IBM/HP/Sun/SGI Hardware
- 2 or more years of Experience with UNIX System Accounting & Reporting
