We were working on installing Linux on Brian's new computer Saturday. Linux installed with no problem. We had a problem where the Windows install kept asking for a floppy to obtain drivers for the SATA harddrive. He discovered a BIOS setting (for RAID), that when disabled, allowed the Windows install to see the harddrive. So, he is happy. Next step is to remove the small harddrive that Windows is loaded on. Then he can load Windows on the big harddrive (big one will need to be set to master). Question: how would he load GRUB after the windows install so he wouldn't need to reinstall Linux? ________________________________________________________________________ Save hundreds of dollars a year with Juno Internet access.
