During our after meeting meal and discussion I mentioned a web mirror software package that I use. A member (Dr. Bob) wanted me to send the information about the package to the mailing list. The GUI version is called webhttrack. The package is httrack. It allows me to copy web sites and it provides many options. A specific feature I like is it allows me to make changes to the web site and view the results within a browser using a web server on my system. You have the option of selecting files by "file extension" (sorry for the window terminology). The directory structure is built for you with options to modify. Here is the "about" information: About WebHTTrack Website Copier (Please notify us of any bug or problem) Development: Interface (Windows): Xavier Roche Spider: Xavier Roche JavaParserClasses: Yann Philippot (C)1998-2003 Xavier Roche and other contributors MANY THANKS for translation tips to: Robert Lagadec (rlagadec@yahoo.fr) Please visit our Web page : http://www.httrack.com ________________________________________________________________________ Interested in getting caught up on today's news?
