[mdlug] Removing Windows 8 from dual boot.

Hello all,
I have a PC in which i'm dual booting Windows 8.1 and Zorin OS. Windows 8.1
is the primary OS i used to create the dual boot, but I now want to remove
Windows 8.1 completely. My hard drive has 3 partitions, 1 for windows 8, 1
for Zorin, and another "data" partition. Is it safe for me to just format
the Windows 8.1 partition, and expand it to the Zorin Partition?
