[mdlug-newbie] Compromised E-mail

On December first an offensive e-mail was sent from one of my charter 
addresses.  I have not yet determined the why, how, or by whom of this 
situation, but I have changed my passwords.  I am not certain who 
received it, but I have received dozens of responses from individuals 
and several forums that I belong to.  Because I do not know who received 
this offensive mailing, I feel it necessary to offer a blanket apology 
to everyone in my address book.  I was shocked and embarrassed to have 
this circulating with my name on it.  If you received it I am very sorry 
for having my security lapse.  If you did not receive it, suffice it to 
say that it was bad enough to warrant a blanket apology.  I am very 
sorry that such a sophomoric stunt took place from one of my e-mail 
addresses.
