More likely someone made the mistake of logging on from a computer that was compromised. 

Six characters isn't that long but mixed upper and lower case alphabetics along with a couple of numbers should have thwarted a brute force attack but picking the wrong computer to log into an account will obviate the strongest password. Sigh.
