Because people with political axes to grind LOVE to use
Wikipedia as a propaganda tool.
I've tried introducing well-documented historical facts into
several pages, and they routinely edited back out for daring
to contradict the "leftists are the source of all that is
pure and good, and everyone else are corrupt evil murderers"
storyline that they like to promote.
