Um, 'my side'? What, exactly, is 'my side', and what are 'my
positions'? Be sure to back it up with stuff I've actually written -
it's all on the MDLUG site for searching...

 Saying "Saddam has no connections to religious fanatics" - which is
true, so far as it goes, his government was quite secular until toward
the end when, under pressure from the U.S. and possible invasion, he
started trying to *forge* such ties to help bolster his power - is not
the same thing as saying "Iraq has no religious fanatics who will
respond violently to an invasion". I don't know of anyone opposed to
the war who claimed that, though there were plenty of people in
*favor* of the war who said it would be trivial and we'd be greeted as
liberators.
