[mdlug-discuss] disk monitoring hardware

Thanks, I found the "smart" suite but I was looking for something that 
was likely already installed. badblocks does just fine.

Now all I have to figure out is if having 822 bad blocks makes me the 
captain of the Titanic or one, lucky son-of-a-gun. Thoughts?
