I realize it has been close to a week since I reported.

The meeting went well.  The remaining membership agreed with my
suggestions as a last ditch attempt to save the club.

To wit:

Downriver Commodore Group is Officially a Retro computing group.

Dropping to one meeting a month.  This will be the first Wednesday in
the Month at 7:00 PM  Because of previous commitments we will have a
meeting on the third Wednesday in January, after this it will be a
single meeting a month.

Dues are now $30 a year, $25 for over 65. 


The January 17 meeting will be about seeing what club hardware is in
working condition and seeing what we have to do to render it working. 
Of major concern are the 1541 disk drives.  All of which are very old
and the belts will doubtless need replacing.


Meeting Schedule:

Jan 17:  Check out the hardware.
Feb 7:  To be announced
March 7  To be announced
April 4  To be announced

Don't think that "To be announced" means nothing happening.  However the
results of the next meeting will have a lot to do with what we do after
that.
