Yeah, me too.  And then there's the Linux "sleep" problem with the
ironically-named Seagate "Free Agent" external drives -- though there
IS a fix for that one, I still think that it shows poor planning &
testing on their part...

With Maxtor gone, I guess that leaves Hitachi and Samsung.
