A software product that he was working on that he was looking for feedback about. We gave him a lot of feedback. Maybe this could be a small part of our efforts: giving business folks some background about their proposals. Also Garry showed off samples of his proposed name tags for meetings. There was some dicdussion on the proposed layout. I convinced Garry to let me put up a project page on the web site about it. Watch for an announcement on the main list. There was some discussion of the proposed new meeting place, but none of us have ever been there, so the discussion didn't go very far. Since Mat wasn't there to wave pastries under our noses, we skipped the deserts. Pat brought up the fact that we currently have no presentation planned for the November meeting. Some ideas were tossed around, but nothing was concluded. Also Garry showed off samples of his proposed name tags for meetings. There was some dicdussion on the proposed layout. I convinced Garry to let me put up a project page on the web site about it. Watch for an announcement on the main list. There was some discussion of the proposed new meeting place, but none of us have ever been there, so the discussion didn't go very far. Since Mat wasn't there to wave pastries under our noses, we skipped the deserts. Pat brought up the fact that we currently have no presentation planned for the November meeting. Some ideas were tossed around, but nothing was concluded.
