In addition to our meetings and mailinglists MDLUG offers several benefits to its members.

One of these is our Newbies pages.

MDLUG also particpates in O'Reilly publishing's User Group & Professional Association Program.
Additionally, O'Reilly has provided us with over a dozen books for our members to review. These member reviews, can be found on our reviews page. More information about MDLUG's O'Reilly program can be found on our O'Reilly page.

And there is our download service. We help out members, who might lack broadband internet access, a CD burner, etc., by downloading and disking Open Source Software (particularly Linux distributions) for a nominal contribution.

And lets not forget the MDLUG library which is stocked with many printed books, as well as software.
