Install fest today.


Raid, Grub, Windows file synchronization.

Garry is installing hardware Raid.

Ray said he posted information on Washtinaw Lug mailing list about Raid.

Ray helped Brian modify the Grub configuration of his new computer.  In past months we installed Linux and then Windows. Grub lost track of the Linux install.  

T-shirt options . . . Our logo.  We are looking at getting prices.

Ken's IBM laptop, an A22, is locking up occasionally when he boots Windows.  Jeff is showing him smart-mon tools to check the harddrive. Watches for a threshold. 
To install smart-mon use apt-get install smartmon (not sure of spelling).
  
Discussion about Microsoft and Novel Silver-Light and Moonlight which are intended to replace Flash. 

KDE-Wallet – Mary is getting an “error -2”. 

Garry's hardware raid is working now.

Sony did a rootkit on thumb drive.  A Mat and Mary said they would never buy another Sony product. Some “sheepole” will buy the stuff anyway.

Matt showed his Webmin server.  Webmin is a tool that allows you to configure systems easily.   

Matt described some Samba configuration files.

The caterer disposed of the last Faygo Cola can (it was to expire this month).
